Bien que triggers the SUBJUNCTIVE, not the indicative. After bien que, always use the subjunctive mood. The same applies to quoique, pour que, avant que, jusqu'à ce que, à moins que, sans que. Not using subjunctive after these conjunctions is a major B1-level error.

Après que takes the INDICATIVE (not subjunctive), despite what many French speakers say. The Académie Française insists on indicative after après que. However, in everyday French, you'll hear the subjunctive. For TEF/TCF, use indicative after après que.

Jusqu'à ce que (until) ALWAYS triggers the subjunctive. This is non-negotiable. The action hasn't happened yet — it's in the future and uncertain — which is why the subjunctive is required.
