About the review

The review, published by Sage Journals, was written to guide educators, researchers, and test-takers on the DELF tout public B2 format. The DELF B2 is part of the DELF suite, which certifies French proficiency across several levels under the CEFR framework. The B2 level is commonly associated with independent use of French: understanding main ideas in complex texts, interacting with fluency, and producing clear, detailed writing.

According to the review, the DELF tout public B2 is designed for adults who want to certify their French skills for personal, academic, or professional reasons. While the article focuses on the DELF, its findings are useful for anyone weighing which French certification to pursue.
