Trust & transparency
Editorial & corrections policy
PrepMyFrench publishes exam preparation guidance and immigration-related news for TEF, TCF, DELF, DALF, and SLE candidates. This page explains how we source, review, and update that content.
Two editorial tiers
- Briefing: factual summary grounded in a named primary source, plus a practical “what this means for your TEF/TCF plan” implication. We do not invent fees, CRS cut-offs, or quotas.
- Original analysis: PrepMyFrench commentary, calculations, exam strategy, expert review, original product data, or candidate experience that goes beyond the source article.
Attribution & verification
News briefings link to the original source. Readers should confirm material decisions with IRCC, Immigration Québec, France’s préfecture / OFII pages, or the official exam provider before acting.
Review & dates
Articles list an author desk and a named editorial reviewer when available. We update dateModified only after meaningful factual or strategic changes — not for cosmetic edits.
Images
Discover-facing stories should use unique editorial heroes (preferably 1280×720, minimal text overlay). Instructional charts for Image Search live inside articles with descriptive filenames, alt text, and surrounding explanation. Shared media-pool covers may appear on briefings but are not treated as Discover-optimal.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email [email protected]. Material corrections are noted on the article when republished.
