PrepMyFrench
A personal spaced-repetition deck, daily review emails, and a 100-word starter set hand-curated from the same content the paid product teaches. Add your own words; we surface them for review when you need them.
Every paid PrepMyFrench account is pre-seeded with 100 B1-level words. These samples are pulled from four of the categories you receive on signup.
TEF Section B and TCF Section C both reward variety in how you express agreement, disagreement, and personal stance. These connectors are the difference between a flat answer and a B2-level argument.
Writing tasks at B1+ expect you to link ideas explicitly. Examiners look for these connectors in formal letters, articles, and forum posts.
Cycling through 20 useful action verbs every day catches the gaps your daily-life French never forces you to use.
When you blank during expression orale, these phrases buy time without sounding rehearsed. The examiner notices natural fillers; they don't penalise them.
The listening-section essentials — read French numbers, dates, prices, and times without hesitation.
Fillers, opinions, polite requests — the building blocks of natural French conversation.
For Section B / Section C tasks where opinion expression and argumentation are graded.
Express Entry applicants — the terms and phrases that surface in professional and civic contexts.
A personal spaced-repetition deck for French words you want to retain. Words you add (or that we pre-seed for paid accounts) show up on a review schedule that adapts to whether you remember them. The schedule uses standard SM-2-style intervals — easier words drift further apart; words you stumble on come back sooner.
Yes. Every paid PrepMyFrench account is pre-seeded with 100 hand-curated B1-level TEF / TCF Canada words. These are pulled from the same content blocks paid users see in roadmap and lessons (opinion connectors, cause/consequence markers, exam-task vocabulary, daily-life expressions). You can add your own words on top, including words flagged from your speaking and writing corrections.
Once a day, you receive an email with one or two words from your deck that are due for review. The email shows the French word, the English translation, and an example sentence if one is available. Open rate determines progression — words you re-open get re-promoted, words you ignore for a long time drift down the priority list.
Every seed word appears in the existing roadmap content paid users already have access to (e.g. src/lib/roadmap-content/common-phrases-everyday.ts). Nothing is invented — the deck is a curated subset of the same vocabulary the rest of the product teaches in context.
Your deck lives in your PrepMyFrench account; cards can be reviewed in the in-app deck view. Bulk export is on the roadmap. Contact support if you need an export ahead of that.
