Compréhension Écrite is the reading comprehension section of TEF Canada and TCF Canada. Candidates read short authentic texts — news articles, advertisements, emails, instructions — and answer multiple-choice questions testing explicit comprehension, vocabulary in context, and inference.

50 questions, 60 minutes. Mix of practical texts (notices, ads), informational texts (articles), and longer reading passages. Scored 0-300.
TCF Canada Compréhension Écrite
39 questions, 60 minutes. Progressive difficulty. Scored 0-699.
