Whether you are tackling TCF Task 3 or TEF Section B, expressing your opinion is the core of the advanced speaking evaluation. The examiner wants to see if you can articulate a complex viewpoint, defend it against counter-arguments, and use a wide range of vocabulary to do so.
Saying "Je pense que c'est bien" will firmly lock you at a B1 level. To achieve CLB 7 or higher, you need to arm yourself with C1-level expressions.
Stepping Beyond "Je pense que"
When you want to state your opinion, you must diversify your introductory verbs. Relying entirely on Je pense que (I think that) or Je crois que (I believe that) shows a limited vocabulary.
