TEF Reading Comprehension: How to Skim and Score High When Running Out of Time
The TEF Canada Reading Comprehension test (Compréhension Écrite) is brutal not because of the vocabulary, but because of the clock.
You are given 50 questions to answer in 60 minutes. That is just 1 minute and 12 seconds per question, which includes reading the texts. The texts become progressively longer and more abstract, meaning most candidates run out of time around Question 40 and blindly guess the last 10 questions.
