PrepMyFrench vs Réussir TCF Canada: Which One Fits Your Exam and Your Budget?
If you search for TCF Canada preparation, Réussir TCF Canada comes up quickly. It is popular, it is affordable, and its question bank is large.
So this is not a "one is good, one is bad" article. The two platforms are built differently, and the right pick depends on three things: which exam you are taking, which skill is holding you back, and how you prefer to pay.
Réussir TCF Canada details below were taken from its public website on October 13, 2026. Features and prices change, so confirm on their site before buying.

PrepMyFrench vs Réussir TCF Canada: Which One Fits Your Exam and Your Budget?
Pick Réussir TCF Canada if you are taking the TCF Canada, you read French comfortably, and you mainly want a big bank of listening and reading tests or classes with a trainer.
Pick PrepMyFrench if speaking or writing is your weak point, if you prefer explanations in English or your own language, or if you might take the TEF Canada.
Combine them if you want high-volume comprehension drilling and frequent speaking and writing feedback.
What Réussir TCF Canada Offers
According to its website, Réussir TCF Canada provides:
40 listening tests and 40 reading tests, described as more than 1,000 audio extracts and more than 1,000 texts.
Speaking and writing topics drawn from recent exam sessions, with corrections for the speaking tasks.
A speaking and writing simulator, sold as separate "Plus" packs with a set number of uses.
Training programs with a trainer, including scheduled sessions on Google Meet or Zoom.
Test packs are sold by access period (5 days, 30 days, 60 days), and simulator packs by number of uses. Listed prices on the day we checked ranged from about US$15 to US$50 for the packs, and from about US$99 to US$199 for the trainer-led programs.
That is a lot of content for the money, especially for listening and reading.

PrepMyFrench is built around producing French and getting feedback on it:
A live voice speaking simulation. An AI examiner speaks to you, listens, and responds to what you said, across all three TCF Canada tasks.
Writing evaluation with sub-scores, the errors found, and corrected versions, usually within minutes.
Word-level pronunciation scoring.
Listening and reading tests for both TCF Canada and TEF Canada.
Flashcards built from your own corrections, reviewed on a spaced schedule.
Grammar lessons, a conjugator and graded readers for the base underneath the exam.
Speaking and writing are sold as credits. A pack of 10 speaking and 10 writing evaluations is $29 USD at the time of writing, and a single full mock exam is $20 USD. See current pricing.
Réussir TCF Canada is for the TCF Canada only. If you have not booked yet, or you might switch because the TEF has an earlier date in your city, a platform that covers both protects you. PrepMyFrench has separate TEF Canada and TCF Canada simulations, so a change of exam does not mean a change of tool. Still deciding? Read TCF Canada vs TEF Canada: which is easier.
2. Which skill is costing you points?
Look at your last result or your last practice scores.
Listening or reading below target: you need volume. A bank of 40 timed tests per skill is the right tool, and Réussir's is big.
Speaking or writing below target: you need a feedback loop. Speak, get corrected, repeat the task. Count how many corrected attempts you can afford before exam day, because that number matters more than how many topics you have read.
3. Do you understand feedback written in French?
This one is easy to overlook. Réussir TCF Canada is a French-language site. If you are at B1, a correction explained in French may be a second comprehension exercise on top of the first.
PrepMyFrench's interface runs in eight languages, so you can read why something is wrong in a language you fully understand, and then fix it in French.
4. Does a time limit help you or stress you?
Access-period pricing suits people who study in an intense burst. A five-day pack is good value if you really use all five days.
Credits suit people with irregular weeks. If you work shifts and lose four days to overtime, your credits are still there. PrepMyFrench packs do have an access window (three to four months for the main packs), but you are not paying for days you could not study.
Three Candidates, Three Answers
Aminata, B2, retaking for a higher listening score. She reads French easily and needs volume. Réussir's test bank fits, and a 30-day pack covers her retake window.
Raj, B1, first attempt, English speaker. His speaking is the risk and he needs feedback he can read without effort. PrepMyFrench's speaking simulation and English interface fit better.
Chen, B1+, exam in six weeks, not sure between TEF and TCF. She wants one platform for both. PrepMyFrench for speaking and writing on either exam, and optionally a short Réussir pack for extra TCF comprehension tests if she stays with the TCF.

A TCF Canada sitting costs several hundred dollars, and you must wait at least 20 days between attempts. Compared with that, running two tools for a month is cheap.
Weeks 1 to 2: comprehension volume. One timed listening and one timed reading test a day.
Weeks 3 to 5: production. Three speaking simulations and two writing tasks a week, each one corrected and repeated.
Week 6: one full mock exam, then only fix errors that keep coming back.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Réussir TCF Canada legitimate?
Yes. It is an established preparation site with a large test bank. It is not affiliated with France Éducation International, which runs the official exam, and neither is PrepMyFrench.
Which is cheaper?
For short bursts of listening and reading, Réussir's small packs are very affordable. For speaking and writing, compare the cost per corrected attempt, not the headline price.
Can PrepMyFrench replace Réussir TCF Canada?
For speaking and writing, yes. For listening and reading, PrepMyFrench includes TCF tests, though candidates who want the largest possible bank may like having both.
Are the AI scores official?
No. On any platform, AI scores are estimates. Use them to see your trend, and aim above your target, not at it.
