Choosing Between TEF and TCF for Express Entry

The "Easier" Points?

Many candidates find TCF Canada slightly more predictable for the Listening and Reading sections because the questions follow a strict difficulty curve (Easy -> Hard). TEF can be more randomized in difficulty grouping.

Speaking Differences

• TEF: Roleplay based. You act out a scenario (Convince a friend, Ask questions).
• TCF: Interview based. You answer questions about yourself and giving opinions. If you are an extrovert who likes acting, choose TEF. If you prefer a structured interview, choose TCF.
